“Janet and the Diva Toolbox helped me get published by More magazine not once but TWICE in the same day. That exposure increased traffic to my website by 25% in just two weeks. She also connected me to a great group of women and we’re now collaborating on an amazing new project. The Diva Toolbox community is outstanding!”

The women from the AOL makeovers all had amazing stories, each took serious inventory and changed what needed to be changed; they all have remarkable courage and I was blessed to have met them all. I feel so very grateful to have played a small part by (supplying the lea sophia jewelry) for Darleen, Peggy, Marilyn and Lisa. Thank you Lisa Johnson Mandell of AOL and Janet Powers of Diva Toolbox for giving me this awesome opportunity to be showcased on a national website, it would have never been available to me if I wasn’t in the Diva Toolbox community.

I was blessed to meet Janet Powers at a Women in Business Networking luncheon. As soon as she heard my story, she wanted to promote my book on her website http://www.divatoolbox.com and to spread the word about my healing journey. When I went to her website, I was amazed at the treasures to behold there. Her only goal is to help women succeed and to provide a forum where women can come together to learn, to grow and to be inspired. She is true to her motto of ‘Within you lies the ability to do anything. Find it.’ She is focused on the product not on the profit. She features ordinary women doing extraordinary things in their lives to help other women who may be facing similar challenges. She is passionate, inventive, creative, and has the courage to pursue her dream. Her energy is infectious and fans the flame of women everywhere to live their greatness. Thank you Janet for this forum and for helping me to share my story of inspiration to touch the lives of women everywhere.

“How I Luckily Found…The Diva Toolbox! I’m a fan of LinkedIn. I’m too old for Facebook and Myspace, I don’t quite get Plaxo, and I’m too cheap to join the networking sites that make me actually pay to be part of them. (I’m on some others out there too, but these for me are the big 4). So, this weekend, when I SHOULD have been studying or doing work, I instead digressed and was surfing around groups on LinkedIn and found…The Diva Toolbox. The name of the organization was just too awesome to pass up, so I contacted the founder and asked about it. Then, we connected, and she offered me a freelance writing gig on Diva Toolbox…on networking. I’m not a networking expert, but I know who is…and that is Hazel Walker. So, I decided to email Hazel and ask if I could interview her for a piece on Diva Toolbox. All I can say is: I HEART online networking, because not only did I luck out and find a cool site to check out, but met the gal behind the awesome site, and had the chance to connect my expert networking friend to her. It’s a win x 3, which is what networking should be ALL about!”

“Diva Toolbox is a terrific new site for women with the tagline: Within you lies the ability to do anything. Find it. It’s a collection of “how-to” articles written on all sorts of topics: health, business, families, home repair, you name it. I had the pleasure of meeting its creator at the eWomen Networking National Conference in Dallas last summer, and knew it seemed like a winning idea. Today, I am delighted that they accepted my article on using essential oils in first-aid.”

I joined Diva tool box not really sure of what I was getting into but looking for ways to share what I learned in 40 years of working in a man’s world with other women. SInce joining, I have had my book featured, have had articles published (not only on the Diva site but also on More magazine) and have been named a daring doer on Tory Johnson’s Spark and Hustle website. Here is the link to that: http://sparkandhustle.com/daring-doers/daring-doer-renee-weisman/

From the moment we first met Janet at a business networking lunch a few years ago, we were impressed by her passion and commitment to her work. We have worked with Janet in a variety of ways since the inception of the Diva Toolbox. We have continually been amazed at her unwavering support for women in business and women’s issues. Janet consistently generates new and creative ideas about how to expand the reach of Diva Toolbox to support women. Janet is a pleasure to work with and brings value to everything she does.

As a member of the Diva Toolbox, I have been published on Yahoo and More online. I started my own Internet Radio Show, “An Average Woman in a Superwoman World”, and have been able to connect with some of the most amazing people I have ever met! Janet has helped me so much along the way – holding my hand when it was the best move, and kicking me in the backside when that was most effective! I am both proud and happy to be a Diva, and keep growing every day because I am!

I’m thrilled to be a part of this community! I had 3 articles in More magazine in the first month of this program. How’s that for results? At Janet’s guidance I also had a video featured on the front page of Oprah’s OWN site. Submitting that video is something I wouldn’t have gotten around to doing for myself. In fact in all the years I’ve been in business, I never even thought of posting a video on Oprah’s site.
Janet has great ideas for how we can all get more visibility and more publicity. When she gets an idea, she acts on it…and she always goes big. The great part is we get the benefit of those ideas.
Being a Diva has been a great asset for me and I think it will be for any business owner who chooses to participate.
